Two vitamins, distinct roles
Vitamin D supports calcium absorption. Vitamin K has a role in normal blood clotting. Combining their names on a pack does not establish a special clinical synergy.
The forms on the label
Alpha D3+K2 identifies vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol and vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7. The formula table includes micrograms, and also gives an IU value for D3. The product page keeps the forms and units together so that the reference is unambiguous.
Read the important information
The supplied label specifically advises people taking blood-thinning medication to consult their physician before taking a supplement containing vitamin K. That information is reproduced on the product page. Product comparison is not a substitute for individual guidance about medicines.
