What is whey?
Whey is a milk-derived protein source. It contains essential amino acids. In a flavoured powder, the ingredient list describes more than the protein source: flavourings, sweeteners and other ingredients also form part of the product.
Five flavours, five labels
Alpha Whey has an independent label for each flavour. Cocoa, colouring and flavour ingredients differ, and the nutrition panels are not identical. Select your flavour before reading the nutrition information or checking allergens. The website changes the ingredients and table with your selection.
Look beyond the large number
Read whether a number is shown per serving, per 100 grams of powder or per 100 grams of protein. Those are different bases for comparison. The Alpha amino-acid profile and the front-of-pack metrics use different headings, which are retained on the product page.
Read your chosen flavour
Before making a shake, confirm the flavour and read its serving size, directions and ingredients. Alpha Whey’s directions describe mixing with water or skimmed milk and offer daily-use timing suggestions. The complete wording is available on the product page.
Choose your taste intensity
The pack includes three liquid ranges: less sweet, regular taste and more intense taste. These adjust the preparation, not the amount of powder in a serving. The website reproduces the guide for each flavour.
Remember the added ingredients
Milk or other additions contribute their own nutrition and allergens. Keep that separate from the powder’s nutrition declaration. The practical aim is a preparation you understand, with the complete label information close at hand.
